Native Rock Acres
At Native Rock Acres, we farm with nature in mind. We use the earth's natural minerals in the food we feed our livestock, on the crops we plant, and in our vegetable garden. These minerals help balance the needs of the soil, plants and trees, and the dietary needs of our animals.
At Native Rock Acres, Beef, pork, and chicken is raised and sold. Alfalfa, wheat, oats, rye and barley are grown for grazing, and harvested for stored feed during the winter months. Various fruit trees, raspberries, strawberries, and a vegetable garden are planted and maintained during the spring and summer months.
- The natural minerals used on the farm include:
- Diatomaceous earth - contains 70+ fresh water minerals including calcium for rebuilding and maintaining strong bones
- North Atlantic kelp – Over 80+ trace minerals from fresh unpolluted ocean waters, a solid source of iodine potassium and magnesium
- Natural mineral sea salt from the mountains of Utah
- Gypsum
- Green Sand
- Humates
- Soft Rock Phosphate
